Symptom(s) Work Around (if one) StarView appears to hangs up from time totime when run inder the OpenWindows window managers (olwm and olvwm). Thesewindow managers do not listen to JAVA when it creates a "modal" windows (ones that stay on the top until dismissed such as error message windows). Sometimes error/information windows get hidden behind the main StarViewwindow, especially if the user has an auto-to-front feature enabled. StarViewis waiting for the user to dismiss these windows and appears unresponsive.Note this is a bug/missing feature in the OpenWindows window managers. Either change to the CDE window manager,disable auto-to-front or, when StarView appears to hang, iconify the StarViewwindow and other windows and look for the window that has been coveredup, click OK, and the get back into the StarView window. Program runs out of memory after 20+ forms areloaded even if they have been closed. None (Windows Only) Save sometimes complainsabout no disk in drive A:.
